Knowing that we are all returning to Allah together, despite our different tests and nations, can stand as a powerful reminder of the power of loving and respecting one another during our time in this world. ![]() Here the Holy Quran reminds us of two things: first, we were made different to be tested in numerous other ways, and second, in the end, we will all be returned to Allah together despite whatever differences we may have had during our lifetimes here on earth. To Allah is your return all together, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ”. ![]() Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation, but to test you in what He has given you so race to good. “To each of you, We prescribed a law and a method. All we have to do is to do good. While what it means to do good in this world could be expanded upon in another article, what we can take away from this line now is that we must always strive towards making the right decision in life, with the end goal of doing everything we can to try and receive the love of Allah. ![]() This seemingly simple verse offers a profound reflection on how to be a practising Muslim – to be loved by Allah, to be able to receive the love of the Most Highest, is a blessing beyond what many of us can imagine.
